Account information
When a maker creates an account we store their email address and sign-in details. Sign-in with Google is also offered; if used, we receive the email and basic profile Google shares.
Maker profile and listings
Public: business name, story, approved products, story videos, and town only if the maker turns on “Show my town publicly”.
Private (maker and admin only): contact email, town (unless shown), and alert settings.
Customer questions
If you send a maker a question, we store your name, email and message so the maker can reply. Only that maker can see it.
Messages and community
Maker-to-maker messages are visible only to the two makers. An admin reads a message only if it is reported. Community posts are visible to approved makers.
Orders and payments
The site does not process orders or payments today, so no payment card information is collected.
Technical information
Our hosting and database providers keep standard technical logs (such as request times and errors) to run and secure the service. Retention periods for these logs are under review.

Service providers
The site uses a hosting and database provider and an AI writing helper for makers' Business Booster. Text a maker sends to the Business Booster is processed by that AI service.

Sharing between buyers and makers
When you contact a maker, that maker sees what you send. Makers' private details are never shown to buyers.
