Makers create an account, write a profile and submit listings. An admin approves listings before they appear publicly.

You are responsible for your products, prices, promises to customers, records and any business registrations you need.

Accurate, legal listings

Describe items honestly and only list items that are legal to sell where you and your customer are.

Licenses, permits and insurance

You are responsible for any licenses, permits or insurance your products require. A permit from one state may not allow sales into another state.

Food products

Food sales are restricted while eligibility rules are assessed. Where allowed, you must follow food-safety, allergen labelling and location rules that apply to you and your customer.

Fulfilment and customer service

Answer customer questions promptly and keep any promises you make about pickup, delivery or timing.

Fees

Basic listings are free. See the fee schedule below. No seller will be charged until fees are completed, disclosed and accepted.

Payments, payouts, taxes and records

Payments and payouts are not active. Tax responsibilities between makers and Honeyfolk have not been determined; until then, you are responsible for your own taxes and records.

Protecting customer information

Use customer contact details only to answer their question or complete their order. Do not sell or share them.

Content and intellectual property

You keep ownership of your content and allow Honeyfolk to show it on the site. Only post what you own or have permission to use.

Reviews and conduct

Do not post fake reviews, pressure customers or harass anyone. See the Acceptable Use Policy.

Refunds, disputes and chargebacks
